Typically, two issues dominate the success of a management team: competence and compatibility. We believe both are critical to the continuing health and growth of our business and to provide you with the exemplary service we are known for.

John C. Haley, President earned his Bachelorís Degree in Economics at the University of Utah. In July of 1994, he began his financial services career at Prudential Preferred Financial Services in the Seattle office where he became a leading expert in institutional investment consulting and planning for the region. In 1997, John moved his practice to RA Bench, where he specialized in investment consulting, design of general and executive benefit arrangements, the financing of shareholder buy-sell agreements, and estate tax and business succession planning. He co-founded Duncan & Haley in December 1998, and has subsequently studied and worked intensely in institutional investment theory, fiduciary stewardship and the delivery of private client comprehensive wealth management services. John currently holds Series 7 (inactive) 65, and 24 securities licenses (although is not affiliated with a broker/dealer), carries the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation, and is a licensed life, health, disability, long term care, and property and casualty insurance producer. John is married with four children, enjoys skiing and hiking and volunteering with local charitable and conservation organizations.

Kelsey L. Blackham, Vice President of Insurance Services earned her Bachelorís Degree at the University of Washington in Business Administration in 2003. She graduated with Business Honors and a concentration in Marketing. In 2003, Kelsey began her career with Duncan & Haley, Ltd., focusing on client relationship management and overall office operations. Over the years, she obtained licenses and certifications in her growth path to becoming a client facing consultant, and ultimately leading the insurance division of the firm. Kelsey carries life, health; disability and long term care insurance licenses, and holds the Certified Long Term Care (CLTC) designation. She also holds Series 7 (inactive) and 66 securities licenses (although is not affiliated with a broker/dealer). Kelsey is married and enjoys skiing, golfing, travel and volunteering at her local food bank.
